UC Engineering International Scholarship at University of Canterbury 2025

Eligibility criteria for UC Engineering International Scholarship:

• Applicants must be full-fee-payers.
• Applicants must enroll in an undergraduate Engineering degree at the University of Canterbury.
• Applicants may not be:
  • Citizens of Aotearoa New Zealand or Australia;
  • Permanent residents of Australia; or
  • Holders of Aotearoa New Zealand residence class visas.
• Applicants cannot be current or former students in a programme for a BE(Hons) degree at the University

Selection criteria:

• Academic achievement
• Demonstrated commitment to, and interest in, Engineering
• Cultural and/or sporting participation and/or community service;
• Strategic goals of the University
• General character

Value of UC Engineering International Scholarship:

Successful applicants of the UC Engineering International Scholarship will receive financial assistance with tuition fees at a value of $15,000.

Application process:

Applications must be made online at the Scholarships website

• 15 August (for those who are studying in Aotearoa New Zealand at that date); or
• 31 October (for those who are studying overseas at that date); or
• 1 March (for those who will be first enrolling for the following Semester 2 or for Summer School).
