Eligibility criteria for UC Engineering International Scholarship:
- Applicants must be full-fee-payers.
- Applicants must enroll in an undergraduate Engineering degree at the University of Canterbury.
- Applicants may not be:
- Citizens of Aotearoa New Zealand or Australia;
- Permanent residents of Australia; or
- Holders of Aotearoa New Zealand residence class visas.
- Applicants cannot be current or former students in a programme for a BE(Hons) degree at the University
Selection criteria:
- Academic achievement
- Demonstrated commitment to, and interest in, Engineering
- Cultural and/or sporting participation and/or community service;
- Strategic goals of the University
- General character
Value of UC Engineering International Scholarship:
Successful applicants of the UC Engineering International Scholarship will receive financial assistance with tuition fees at a value of $15,000.
Application process:
Applications must be made online at the Scholarships website
- 15 August (for those who are studying in Aotearoa New Zealand at that date); or
- 31 October (for those who are studying overseas at that date); or
- 1 March (for those who will be first enrolling for the following Semester 2 or for Summer School).
