The scholarship will support research in the area of geospatial AI (GeoAI), including work in connection with spatial data and deep learning, knowledge graphs, and generative AI and will investigate the combination of geospatial technologies, such as GIS and remote sensing imagery, and AI techniques, such as machine learning and knowledge representation.
Eligibility criteria:
- Applicant must have a first-class Honours or 2A Honours or equivalent degree in a relevant discipline of engineering/science.
- Applicant must be an Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident, or an international student meeting the minimum English language requirements.
- Applicant must provide evidence of adequate oral and written communication skills.
- Applicant has to demonstrate the ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary research team.
- Applicant must meet RMIT's entry requirements for the master by research degree.
