Gallagher Scholarship for Management Studies 2024

Purpose:

The Scholarship provides financial support and potential for a paid work placement for promising Bachelor of Business with Honours and fourth-year Bachelor of Management Studies with Honours students majoring in Supply Chain Management.

Eligibility for the Gallagher Scholarship for Management Studies:

• The applicant must have completed years 1 to 3 of the University of Waikato's BBus or BMS(Hons) program with at least an "A-" average.
• The candidate should be a BMS(Hons) student starting their fourth year, intending to enroll in the BBus(Hons) program or intend to transfer to the BMS(Hons) program for their fourth year.
• The candidate needs to choose supply chain management as their major.
• Must be qualified for domestic fees status, meaning they must be Australian citizens or permanent residents living in New Zealand, or they must be New Zealand citizens or permanent residents holding a Resident Class Visa.

Selection Criteria:

• Academic excellence
• The student's dedication to supply chain management as a way to enhance New Zealand businesses and organizations and address global issues.

Value of the scholarship:

• $5,000 will be paid directly to the recipient as soon as practicable after acceptance of the Scholarship, or after the withdrawal date of A Trimester (whichever is latest).
• $5,000 will be paid directly to the recipient after the withdrawal date of the B Trimester and is conditional on the student receiving at least a ‘B+’ average in the A Trimester.+
