KU Leuven is offering short-term research grants to researchers and alumni from selected groups of countries. The applicants are granted a research stay of a maximum of 90 days.
Eligibility Criteria of the Grant:
- Applicants must have completed their PhD studies.
- Applicants must be nationals and residents of one of the eligible countries on the list.
- Applicants must be employed by an institution located in the listed countries.
- Applicants must be invited and supported by a KU Leuven supervisor who is a senior staff member (ZAP).
- Applicants under the age of fifty are given first consideration.
Application Process:
- Interested candidates must submit an online application.
- The candidates must upload the following documents:
- A signed letter of invitation from a KU Leuven professor.
- Most recent CV.
- A copy of the passport.
- A copy of the PhD certificate.
Value of the Research Grant:
- The successful applicants can avail of the following benefits.
- A monthly allowance of EUR 1,500.
- EUR 200 for indirect travel costs.
- Insurance coverage.
- Accommodation will be provided but must be covered by the monthly allowance.
- An air ticket.
