PhD Studentship: Developing a Democratic Culture of Voice and Participation for Employee-owned Businesses (EOBs) Management School – PhD Research Project Directly Funded – Students Worldwide
Eligibility
- This studentship is open to candidates committed to democratic organizing and fairness in the workplace.
- While experience with Employee-Owned Businesses (EOBs), democratic organizations, or action research is desirable, it is not essential.
- The student should be ready to engage in a collaborative, action-oriented approach.
- A Master’s degree in social science or relevant experience is required for the +3.5 programme.
Benefits/Value
- The studentship is a 3.5-year PhD program that covers tuition fees (home and international) and provides an annual stipend at the UKRI rate, which is £20,780 for 2025/26.
- The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to co-design interventions with EOBs, gaining unique insights into democratic working practices.
