Summary:
GSIS students may pursue scholarships and funds provided under the auspices of the central and local governments as well as the private sector. GSIS also extends partial financial support to students in selective cases to meet the costs of extramural intensive academic training and internship programs.
Eligibility for the BK21 Scholarship:
- Applicants should be full-time domestic and international students in international studies.
- Candidates must not have four major social insurances (national pension, national health insurance, employment insurance, and industrial accident compensation insurance).
- Students should have less than two years of master’s degree (within four semesters).
Value of the Scholarship:
Successful applicants of the BK21 Scholarship will receive KRW 1,000,000 (per month/6 months) from the university.
