Dr. Amrik Singh gave the scholarship as a memorial to his late parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jagtar Singh. Since 2006, Dr. Singh has served as an assistant professor at the Daniels College of Business School of Hotel, Restaurant, and Tourism Management at the University of Denver. He received his Bachelor of Science in Recreation and Leisure from the University of Utah.
