Africa Scholarship Programme at Wageningen University and Research 2025

The Wageningen University and Research Center of Netherlands is offering Africa Scholarship Programme which is a fully-funded scholarship for students from Africa to pursue a master's degree at the University. 

Eligibility Criteria of the Scholarship:

• Applicants must be passport holders of African nations.
• Applicants must have applied for the MSc program offered at the university.
• Applicants must obtain unconditional offer of admission to the applied program.
• Applicants must exhibit scholastic excellence by scoring:
  • A First class honours degree and
  • A GPA of 80% or higher in a bachelor's degree.
• Applicants who have not yet obtained a Master's degree are given first consideration.

Application Process:

The scholarship can be availed by invitation only.

Value of the Fund:

All successful candidates are awarded full scholarships from Wageningen University and Research Centre. The award includes the following benefits:

• Travel to and from The Netherlands.
• Living allowance for the duration of the programme (24 months).
• Tuition fee coverage for the duration of the programme (24 months).
• Visa costs and costs for health insurance.
