Alberta Graduate Excellence Scholarship (AGES) at University of Calgary 2024-25

Eligibility for Alberta Graduate Excellence Scholarship (AGES) at the University of Calgary:

The scholarship is open to the following categories of students (Canadian citizens or permanent residents):

• Applicants enrolled full-time in a thesis-based graduate degree program in the Faculty of Graduate Studies. 
  • Students must be living in Alberta.
• Applicants (master’s students) who completed no more than 13 months of full-time study in their master’s program at the time the award is paid.
• Applicants (doctoral students) who have completed no more than 25 months of full-time study in their doctoral program at the time the award is paid.
• Applicants transferring from a master’s program to a doctoral program who completed no more than 25 months of full-time study in their graduate program at the time the award is paid. 

Application Process:

• All eligible candidates must contact their respective program office for the scholarship process.
• The candidates are then nominated to FGS. 

Value of the Scholarship:

The successful candidates are awarded a scholarship of CAD 11,000.
