The UQ Link Scholarship at the University of Queensland assists students who have experienced educational disadvantages due to financial hardship and who are undertaking tertiary studies for the first time.
Eligibility for the UQ Link Scholarship:
- Applicants must be a citizen of Australia, a permanent resident of Australia (including humanitarian visas), or a citizen of New Zealand.
- Applicants must intend to enrol as a commencing student in any undergraduate or associate degree program in the year the scholarship is awarded, or after an approved deferral of up to 2 years
- Applicants must have demonstrated significant financial disadvantage through achieving maximum points for the ‘Financial Hardship’ category of QTAC’s Educational Access Scheme.
Application process:
- If you have completed the 'Financial Hardship' category within the Educational Access Scheme (EAS), you will be automatically assessed.
- You will need to provide all of the required supporting documents and information.
Value of the Scholarship:
Students will receive AUD 3,000 per year.
