The Jumpstart Scholarship at Auckland Universit of Technology 2024

The TPT Group has kindly donated this scholarship. The TPT Group was established in 1999 and has a demonstrated history of effectively merging and creating firms while offering the knowledge, framework, and tools necessary to support expansion. Through its support of the TPT Group Business Scholarship, TPT Group has previously partnered with AUT.

Eligibility Criteria for The Jumpstart Scholarship:

• The applicant must be a permanent resident of New Zealand or a citizen of New Zealand.
• Admission to an AUT program of study or enrollment in the first year of an undergraduate program there.
• Alumni of East Tamaki Secondary Schools who graduated from high school no more than two years before applying will be given preference.
• Students should be able to prove that they are having financial difficulties.
• The scholarship will encourage the recipient to pursue a pre-degree study pathway if they have not yet attained university entrance, do not meet the academic admission standards for a bachelor's degree, or need to gain confidence before beginning a bachelor's degree.

Requirements:

• Academic transcripts for study not completed at AUT
• Personal statement in any media (including but not limited to video of 3 minutes maximum, essay or letter of 2 pages maximum) as to financial hardship and career aspirations
