The Global Excellence Scholarship at The University of Western Australia 2025

As stated in the offer letter, the Global Excellence Scholarship entitles the recipient to an annual tuition discount for the standard course term. The applicant's equivalent Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) or weighted average mark (WAM) from UWA determines the scholarship amount.

Eligibility for The Global Excellence Scholarship at the University of Western Australia:

General Eligibility:

• The University of Western Australia should have extended an offer to the applicant for a degree, either undergraduate or graduate if they have attained an equivalent:
• minimum ATAR 85.00; or
• minimum WAM 65.00
• Students enrolled in an authorized International Academic Pathway (Articulation Program) must have obtained a WAM equivalent score of greater than 75.00.

Undergraduate Eligibility:

• An applicant must be applying for an Assured Pathway course or an approved undergraduate bachelor's degree to be eligible for the award. The following are excluded:
• Assured Pathway to Medicine
• Assured Pathway to Dental Medicine

Postgraduate Eligibility:

• An applicant must be applying for an approved postgraduate degree (by coursework) to be eligible for the award. The following are excluded:
• Juris Doctor (20820)
• Doctor of Medicine (91850)
• Doctor of Dental Medicine (91860)
• Doctor of Optometry (91590)
• UWA Micro-credentials

Application Process:

Those who meet the ATAR/WAM standards for the scholarship are automatically rewarded.
