Sydney International Equity Scholarship at The University of Sydney 2025

The Sydney International Equity Scholarship is provided in collaboration with the University of Sydney's principal international partners, aimed at supporting students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds.

Eligibility Criteria:

• The applicant must be classed as an international student.
• The applicant must enroll in a full-time degree program at the university.
• The applicant must be endorsed as a potential candidate by the relevant global partner organization.
• The applicant must surpass all requirements set by the relevant key global partner organization.
• The applicant needs to be a citizen of a country where the relevant key global partner is active.
• The applicants commencing a second degree at the University of Sydney are ineligible.

Application Process:

• The potential candidates must be selected by the global partners of the University of Sydney.
• The eligible candidates are assessed for the scholarship based on their admission application.

Value of the Scholarship:

The successful candidates can avail of the following benefits:

• Full tuition fees,
• Single overseas health cover,
• Student Services Amenities Fee,
• AUD 12,000 per annum living allowance,
• AUD 1,000 per year for textbooks,
• AUD 3,000 per year for ancillary costs associated with their degree,
• On-campus accommodation,
• Visa application fee,
• Return flight ticket to Australia to commence the relevant degree and to return to their home country after the relevant degree (maximum value of AUD 4,000).
