Tianjin University Scholarship for Chemical Engineering and Technology Program (TJUSCET) 2024

Tianjin University Scholarship for Chemical Engineering and Technology Program is set by the School of Chemical Engineering and Technology to support prospective international students in the bachelor program of Chemical Engineering and Technology. It is a four-year duration scholarship, however, the scholarship winners need to participate in the annual review, and only those passing the annual review are eligible for next-year scholarship support.

Eligibility criteria:

• Applicant must not be a passport holder of China.
• Applicant should hold a high school diploma and be under the age of 25.
• Applicant who is under the age of 18, must submit the original guardian certificate issued by the Tianjin District Notary Office.
• Applicants need to submit English proficiency certificate for English-taught programs except for native speakers.
• Applicants must have good conduct, good physical and mental health, and be willing to abide by the laws and regulations of China and the university.

Application Process:

• Interested candidates must submit the online application and submit the following documents:
  • Scan of original high school diploma or original notarized diploma.
  • Scan of notarized copy of the high school academic transcripts or scan of international standardization test results.
  • Photocopy of passport within the validity period.
  • Proof of Chinese or English proficiency.
  • Study Experience Resume.
  • Personal statement or study plan (min. of 600 words).
  • Photocopy of foreigner physical examination form.
  • Applicants who are now in China must submit scan of Photocopy of Visa and Transfer Certificate from present school. 
  • Applicants who are not in China at present must submit scan of Certificate of Non-Criminal Records.
  • Other documents as requested by the university.

Value of the Scholarship:

• Selected candidates are awarded the scholarship on the following quotas (Full and Partial scholarship).
• Full Scholarship - Tuition fees (RMB 20,000 per annum), Living allowance (RMB 1,400 for 10 months).
• Partial Scholarship - Tuition fees (RMB 20,000 per annum).
