Eligibility Criteria for Sir Roy Mckenzie AUT Deaf Scholarship at Auckland University of Technology 2024:
- Applicants must be a New Zealand citizen or permanent resident.
- Applicants must have a hearing loss of 70 DB or more in the better ear (i.e., be severely deaf).
- The scholarship is open to students enrolling in the second or subsequent year of a Bachelor’s degree, or enrolling in a Postgraduate Diploma or Postgraduate degree program.

Each year, two stipend scholarships are granted:
- $3,000 scholarship for undergraduate students
- $5,000 scholarship for postgraduate students.
