The Luxembourg Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs (MFEA) provides a restricted selection of scholarships for government officials, judges, officials from civil society groups, and lawyers from a selected group of nations. The scholarship is specifically for candidates pursuing a Master's in European Legal Studies Online and require financial support.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Applicants must identify as officials, members of the judiciary, representatives of civil society organizations, and legal professionals.
- Applicants must be from the selected group of nations.
- Applicants must hold a bachelor's degree. (A diploma in law-related subjects is considered an advantage).
- Applicants must have a good understanding of English/French. (Candidates are expected to have full proficiency in one language and be able to read and understand the other language).
- Applicants must fulfill the quota of 80% attendance.
Application Process:
- Interested candidates must complete the MELS online application form.
- The application should include the following components:
- A letter of motivation including the reason for application and the ability to cover certain costs.
- A letter of acceptance from the employer to attend the program, mentioning specifically the consent to absences due to attendance of the program.
- Copies of university study diplomas, translated into English or French.
- Certified translation is required for non-EN/FR diplomas.
- Proof of knowledge of English and French (optional)
- ID/Passport copy.
