Eligibility for Alex Chernov Scholarships at the University of Melbourne:
To be eligible, applicants must:
- Be an international student from India, and
- Have applied and meet the entry requirements for a masters degree of the Melbourne Law Masters program
- If commencing in the start-year intake (March), your application for your chosen course must be submitted by 30 September the year prior.
- If commencing in the mid-year intake (July), your application for your chosen course must be submitted by 31 January of the same year.
Value/Benefits of the Scholarship:
- Full tuition fee sponsorship for one year
- A living allowance of $20,000 paid in two instalments of $10,000 in April or September
- You could earn up to $10,000 for research work and receive mentorship from the Honourable Alex Chernov, former Judge and Governor of Victoria.
Application Process:
Eligible students applying for a Masters-level course in the Melbourne Law Masters program must submit a 300-word statement by the following deadlines:
11:59pm, 22 November 2024 (start-year intake)
11:59pm, 30 April 2025 (mid-year intake).
