Award Details
- The RUK and Ireland Common Good Bursary is available to full-time undergraduate students from England, Wales, Northern Ireland, and the Republic of Ireland.
- This non-repayable bursary provides financial support across your degree, including:
- £2,000 cash bursary for each of the first three years of your degree, paid over three instalments annually.
- A tuition fee waiver in your final year:For four-year honours programmes, a fee waiver worth £9,535 in your final year.
- For five-year programmes (e.g., MEng Electrical and Electronic Engineering, MEng Mechanical Engineering, MOptom Optometry), you will receive:£2,000 cash bursary for each of the first four years, paid over three instalments.
- A final-year fee waiver worth £9,535.
Eligibility
- Available to undergraduate students from England, Wales, Northern Ireland, and the Republic of Ireland.
- You must be paying your tuition fees via SAAS, Student Finance England, Student Finance Northern Ireland, Student Finance Wales, or be self-funding.
- This award is automatic, so you do not need to apply separately, but you must upload your bank details on your student portal to receive the payments once you register for your course.
