QUT Excellence Scholarship (Elite Visual and Performing Arts) 2024

The QUT Excellence Scholarship, especially in the Elite Visual and Performing Arts, acknowledges exceptional achievement in artistic endeavors and signifies the organization's goal of drawing top talent to the field of creative industries.

Eligibility for QUT Excellence Scholarship (Elite Visual and Performing Arts):

• The applicant needs to be enrolling in college for the first time in 2024.
• On their QTAC application, the applicant should have indicated that their top choice was one of the eligible Creative Industries courses.
• Students need to be an Australian or New Zealand citizen.
• Students should be permanent residents.
• Students should be holders of a permanent humanitarian visa.
• Students should be international students who have completed high school in Australia or an Australian curriculum (or International Baccalaureate) overseas.

Eligible Programs:

• Bachelor of Fine Arts (Acting)
• Bachelor of Fine Arts (Dance)
• Bachelor of Fine Arts (Music)
• Bachelor of Fine Arts (Visual Arts).

Application Process:

There is no specific application process needed to be considered for this scholarship. All applicants who apply for an eligible course will be considered. Students must complete a QTAC application and the individual audition or portfolio requirements as listed on each course page.

Value of the Scholarship:

A scholarship valued at up to AUD 30,000. These scholarships will be paid as a study stipend of up to AUD 5,000 after the HECS-HELP census date of each semester for the standard duration of your course, for up to three years (AUD 10,000 per year).
