The PPIA Fellowship Program helps students achieve a Master’s or joint degree, typically in public policy, public administration, international affairs, or a related field. The organization does this through the intensive study provided by participation in a Junior Summer Institute (JSI). The PPIA Junior Summer Institute is a seven-week program structured to introduce or strengthen skills in economics, statistics, policy analysis, writing, public speaking, and organization/time management.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • The applicants should be citizens or permanent residents of the US.
  • The applicants should not have obtained a bachelor's degree before starting at the Junior Summer Institute.
  • The candidates are expected to complete a master's degree in public and international affairs at a graduate school in the PPIA Consortium.
  • The applicants must demonstrate an interest in pursuing a professional career associated with public service.

Application Process:

  • Interested candidates must submit an online application.
  • The candidates should also submit a recommendation letter and upload three essays (500 words).

  • The selected candidates can avail of the following benefits:
    • A one-time fellowship of USD 5,000 at a PPIA graduate school if admitted for a Master’s degree.
    • Summer stipend to facilitate full participation in the JSI program.
    • Fully funded summer coursework at one of our prestigious university partner campuses.
    • Free books and course materials for the JSI program.
    • University housing during the JSI program.
    • Career guidance and coaching during the JSI program.

    Yes, you can secure an education loan to study abroad at PPIA Program. Education loans are of two types- Collateral and non collateral. Collateral includes either: Immovable property – a house or a flat or land (or) liquid security – an FD, or LIC or shares or bonds. Agricultural lands are not accepted by any bank for education loan.

    Public banks like SBI, BOB offer these types of education loans. There are many NBFCs who offer Non-collateral education loans. Apply for the best education loan to study abroad.
