Biomedical Science and Nanotechnology PhD Scholarship at RMIT University 2024/25

The project will combine particle nanoengineering, comprehensive proteomics analysis, and whole blood immune assays to understand the relationships between nanoparticle design, biomolecular corona composition, and the association of nanoparticles with immune cells. Key competencies in the synthesis and characterization of nanomaterials, nanobiological interactions, and immunology will be taught to the applicant during their training in the fields of nanoscience, nanotechnology, and immunology.

Eligibiliy criteria:

• Applicants must have first-class Honours or a Masters degree in material science/engineering, nanotechnology, chemistry, immunology, or a related field.
• Practical or research experience related to engineering and characterisation of nanoparticles or immunoassay will be preferred.
