Mukhyamantri Vidhyarathi Yojana for SC/ST/OBC Students is an opportunity offered by the Department for the Welfare of SC/ST, Government of NCT of Delhi, for SC/ST/OBC category students studying in Class 9 to 12 in recognized public schools in Delhi. The selected candidates will receive a scholarship of up to INR 10,000 per annum.
Eligibility Criteria for Mukhyamantri Vidhyarathi Pratibha Yojana for SC/ST/OBC Students :
- Students need to be domiciled in Delhi.
- Students should belong to the Scheduled Caste (SC)/Scheduled Tribe (ST)/Other Backward Class (OBC) community.
- Students must be enrolled in Class 9 to 12 in a recognized/affiliated with the Department of Education, Government. of NCT of Delhi/Municipal local bodies of Delhi.
- Students should have an annual parent(s)/guardian income not exceeding INR 8,00,000.
Students should have secured the following minimum marks in the previous class:
- Class 9 and 10: 50%
- Class 11 and 12: 60%
Application Process:
Students need to submit an application form ONLINE only.
Documents:
- Annual family income certificate issued by the competent authority of Delhi
- EWS certificate issued by the competent authority of the Government of NCT of Delhi (if applicable)
- Domicile certificate by the competent authority of the Government of NCT of Delhi (if applicable)
- Caste certificate issued by SDM/Deputy Commissioner (Revenue), Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi (GNCTD) in the name of the students or their father’s name
- Marksheet/certificate of the previous academic year
- Aadhaar-seeded bank account details of the student (Note:- A joint bank account with a parent/guardian is also permissible)
Note:
No income limit is applicable for students who secured a minimum of 75% marks in the previous class.
