Each year the Research School of Astronomy and Astrophysics (RSAA) may award up to 3 awards for Excellence in Research known as the Joan Duffield Research Award.
Eligibility for Joan Duffield Research Award:
- Applicant must be an Australian citizen, a New Zealand citizen, or an Australian permanent resident.
- The candidate should be enrolled in a PhD program at RSAA and is working on a project in Astronomy & Astrophysics.
- Students should have completed all of the required milestones to the satisfaction of the Delegated Authority.
Value of the Award:
The scholarship provides a stipend of $2,500 for one year.
