This fellowship aims to promote research and study in the fields of forest soil biology and forest mycology.
Eligibility for J. André Fortin Fellowship in Forest Mycology and Forest Soil Biology:
- Throughout the scholarship award session, the candidate must be enrolled full-time in the master's program in forestry sciences with a thesis, or be considered full-time by Financial Aid for Studies.
- The candidate needs to have been accepted (first registration session) either in the fall of 2023 or in 2024.
- The program management should have received and approved the candidate's partnership plan
OR
- During the scholarship grant session, the candidate must work full-time toward the PhD in forestry sciences, or as determined by Financial Aid for Studies.
- The applicant had to have been accepted (first registration session) in 2022, 2023, or 2024.
- The candidate has to submit and have program management approve a partnership strategy.
Selection Criteria Includes:
- Relevance of the subject to the objective of the scholarship
- Potential benefits of the project in the field of mycology
- Excellence in academic record (cumulative average of current program)
