G B Battersby-Trimble Scholarship in Computer Science at University of Canterbury 2025

Eligibility criteria for the G B Battersby-Trimble Scholarship in Computer Science:

• Applicants can be both domestic and international fee payers.
• Applicants must be enrolled full-time or part-time at the University in one of the following:
  
  • The final year of a program for an honours degree in Computer Science.
  • A program for a master’s degree in Computer Science.
  • A program for a PhD in Computer Science.
• Preference is given to those who are studying for an honours or master’s degree.

Selection criteria for the G B Battersby-Trimble Scholarship in Computer Science:

• Academic achievement
• Breadth of experience, including work experience or university courses other than computer science.
• The potential contribution of any ongoing or planned research effort to New Zealand's computer development.

Value of the G B Battersby-Trimble Scholarship in Computer Science:

• $2,000 for honours students and master's students doing courses.
• $7,000 for master's thesis students.
• $8,000 for PhD thesis students.
