Eligibility Criteria for Frances Briggs Memorial Prizes in Plant Sciences at the University of Auckland 2025:
Junior Prize:
- Awarded to the best student in Stage I or II Plant Sciences courses.
- The student must be continuing to enroll in Plant Sciences courses in the following year.
Senior Prize:
- Awarded to the best student in Stage III Plant Sciences courses.
- The student must be continuing to enroll in postgraduate study in Plant Sciences in the following year.
Selection Criteria for Frances Briggs Memorial Prizes in Plant Sciences at the University of Auckland 2025:
- Nominations are made to the Scholarships Office.
- The best student for each prize is selected based on their GPA for the year.
- The final decision is made by the University of Auckland Council, following the recommendation of the Director of the School of Biological Sciences.
Value of Frances Briggs Memorial Prizes in Plant Sciences at the University of Auckland 2025:
Successful applicants will receive a prize valued at $1,500.
