Dean's Fund for Excellence at College of Health and Human Sciences 2025

This scholarship is available to bachelor's and master's students enrolled in the College of Health and Human Sciences at San José State University (SJSU). 

Eligibility

To be eligible, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Be an SJSU student in the College of Health and Human Sciences at the time of application.
• Be a full-time matriculated student with demonstrated financial need at the time of application.
• Be accepted into an official SJSU Study Abroad Program, administered by the Study Abroad and Away Office of the College of Professional and Global Education.
• Students who are already receiving a specific study abroad scholarship are not eligible for this award.
  Scholarship Value and Benefits
• The scholarship offers up to $500 in financial assistance.
• This award helps students with demonstrated financial need to participate in SJSU Study Abroad Programs, promoting global education and cross-cultural experiences.
• The scholarship aims to make international education more accessible by providing financial support to eligible students.

Application Process

• Complete the Application: Applicants must fill out the scholarship application electronically through the Spartan Scholarship website.
• Ensure Eligibility: Confirm that you are a full-time matriculated student with financial need and have been accepted into an official SJSU Study Abroad Program.
• Submit Before the Deadline: Be sure to submit your completed application by the deadline posted on the Spartan Scholarship website.
• Verify Scholarship Status: Students receiving other study abroad scholarships specifically for studying abroad are not eligible to apply.
