North American Regional Science Council of the Regional Science Association International (NARSC-RSAI) is offering Benjamin H. Stevens Graduate Fellowships, 2024 to graduate students enrolled in Ph.D. in North America.

Eligibility Benjamin H. Stevens Graduate Fellowships

  • Applicants may come from any nationality.
  • Applicants must have no other duties except dissertation research during the fellowship period.
  • Applicants must have completed all the necessary degree requirements excluding their dissertation by the time fellowship begins.
  • Applicants working in any area or any Ph.D. program can apply provided their research addresses questions in Regional Science.

Application Process:

All eligible candidates must sent the application to jdruck@uic.edu. The application should include the following components:

  • Curriculum Vitae (max. two pages)
  • Previous involvement with North American regional science organizations and journals should be annotated.
  • Response to the statement regarding the research proposal (max. 10 pages).
  • Copies of the official transcripts for all graduate study.

Value of Benjamin H. Stevens Graduate Fellowships:

  • The successful applicants will receive a stipend of $36,000 which will be disbursed over twelve months.
