Beit-Glasgow Scholarship at University of Glasgow 2025 is offered to students from Malawi, Zambia, and Zimbabwe enrolling in MSc in developmental subjects.
Eligibility Criteria of Beit-Glasgow Scholarship at University of Glasgow:
- Applicants must be nationals of Zambia, Zimbabwe or Malawi (Must hold permanent residence).
- Applicants must hold First Class/Distinction or Upper Second-Class Honours degrees (or equivalent) at undergraduate level.
- Applicants must satisfy the English proficiency requirements as required by the UK Home Office.
Application Process:
- All eligible candidates must first indicate the interest to apply for the scholarship at the time of admission.
- Candidates with confirmed offer of admission must apply via https://beittrust.org.uk/beit-trust-scholarships/ for the scholarship.
- They must submit three references (Academic, Character and Employer) for which the forms will be sent to the candidate after applying for the scholarship.
Value of the Scholarship:
The successful candidates are awarded the following benefits:
- Fees, tuition costs plus related academic expenses.
- Personal allowance,
- Other allowances - For arrival, a laptop and departure
- Economy Class tickets for the initial journey to the place of study and on final return.
NB: Doctors and Vets must complete 18 months of internship and a one-year (preferably rural) posting in Zambia, Zimbabwe or Malawi.
