American Association Of Japanese University Women Scholarships, 2016

The American Association of Japanese University Women (AAJUW) is offering scholarships to female students in accredited universities or colleges in California.

Eligibility

• The candidates applying for American Association of Japanese University Women Scholarships, 2016 should have graduate, senior, or junior standing in the school year 2016-2017.
• The applicants should be female students enrolled in accredited universities or colleges in California.
• The candidates should not have received American Association of Japanese University Women Scholarships, 2016 previously.
• The applicants should have a desire to take up a leadership role in their studies.
• The candidates should be U.S.-Japan relations and cultural exchanges contributors.
• The recipients should attend the award ceremony at their own expense.

Documents required

• The applicants for American Association of Japanese University Women Scholarships, 2016 should submit a resume, two recommendation letters submitted to AAJUW Scholarship Committee out of which one should be from a professor in their field of study, and the scholarship application form.
• The candidates should also submit official transcripts from the college/university for the past two years and an essay on the topic of what they wish to achieve in their study and how would they improve U.S. – Japan relationship in two pages or less.
