Vice-Chancellor's International Scholarships at Newcastle University 2025

The objective of Vice-Chancellor's International Scholarships is to support and encourage students enrolled to study at the university. There are 200 partial Vice-Chancellor's International Scholarships available at Newcastle University. They will help foreign students pursue graduate-level master's degrees or undergraduate degrees.

Eligibility criteria:

• Applicants have been offered a place to study on an eligible undergraduate degree course at the university’s Newcastle city centre campus for the 2025/26 academic year.
• Applicants be assessed as international for fee purposes.
•  

Non-Eligible Programs:

• Pathway students progressing to the university from INTO Newcastle
• Applicants for MBBS, BDS, and Dental Therapy BSc courses
• Applicants applying through Clearing
• Current, registered students at the university who have already commenced their undergraduate degree at the time of the award. Awards cannot be made retrospectively.
• Applicants initially assessed as international for fee purposes but whose fees change to “home”
• Students repeating courses
• Study abroad and exchange students

Value of the Scholarships:

Successful Vice-Chancellor's International Scholarships applicants will receive an amount of £6,000 in tuition fee awards.

Application:

As part of their academic degree application, eligible candidates will automatically be considered for a Vice-Chancellor's International Scholarship.
