University of Southern California USC Merit Scholarships

USC Merit Scholarship applicants must submit their applications for admission to the institution by November 1 or December 1, depending on their desired major. The scholarships are administered via the Office of Admission. Students must apply for Early Action and submit a full application by November 1st for the majority of majors. Students applying to the Iovine and Young Academy or majoring in architecture, art and design, cinematic arts, dance, dramatic arts, or music are not eligible for Early Action. December 1st is the deadline for applications to these majors in order to be considered for admission and scholarships. Merit scholarships, which can be worth several thousand dollars or the whole cost of tuition, are given out in response to applicants' talents, leadership, service, and academic achievement. Some of them include the Deans Scholarship, which covers one fourth of the tuition, the half-tuition Presidential Scholarship, and the full-tuition Trustee Scholarship.
