Scoville Jr. Peace Fellowships, 2024

The Scoville Jr. Peace Fellowships, 2024 are offered to US citizens and residents for six to nine months in Washington, D.C. The individuals will work with nonprofit, public-interest organizations addressing peace and security issues. The fellows will work with one of the twenty-five participating organizations.

Eligibility for Scoville Jr. Peace Fellowships, 2024:

• The applicants for Scoville Jr. Peace Fellowships, 2024 should be citizens or residents of the US.
• The candidates should have a baccalaureate degree by the start of the fellowship.
• The applicants should be intending to pursue independent research in Washington, DC.
• The candidates should have a strong interest in these fields.
• The applicants should be good writers, and consider a career working in international peace and security issues with public-interest organizations, the Federal Government, academia, or the media.

Documents required:

• The candidates applying for Scoville Jr. Peace Fellowships, 2024 should submit a curriculum vitae, the name and contact information of the applicants, and the list of 5 to 6 participating organizations that they would like to work.
• The applicants should also submit official transcripts, two reference letters, and a personal essay discussing their qualifications, interests, fellowship objectives, and career goals in 1,000 words.
• The candidates should submit an opinion essay relevant to peace and security in 1,000 words.

Value of the scholarship:

The recipients of Scoville Jr. Peace Fellowships, 2024 get a salary of $3,500 per month and health insurance, and $1,000 per fellow to attend relevant conferences or meetings.
