• An IELTS (or equivalent recognized test) with an overall score of no less than 6.5, with a minimum of 6.0 in all four bands: Reading, Writing, Listening, and Speaking.
• Academic Qualifications: One of the following academic qualifications in a field related to Biomedical Science to the level of achievement specified.
• An Honours degree with no less than a distinction average (1st or 2A Honours)
• Master of Philosophy or Master of Research 
• Master's by Coursework (at least¼ research component)
• Postgraduate Diploma (at least¼ research component) awarded with distinction.

• Curtin PhD Stipends are valued at AUD 28,092 p.a. for up to a maximum of 3.5 years.
• The successful applicants for PhD in Understanding the Mechanisms Behind Inflammatory Dysfunction in Dysferlinopathy Throughout Lifespan 2020 will receive a 100% fee offset.
