Invest Your Talent In Italy 2024

Acknowledging the significance of foreign students as a vital tool for the nation's internationalization, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation - Directorate General for Public and Cultural Diplomacy, the Ministry of University and Research, ITA - Italian Trade Agency, and Uni-Italia, in the context of the "Invest Your Talent in Italy" Program, will bestow several scholarships on foreign students desiring to pursue postsecondary education in Italy for the academic year 2024–2025.

Eligibility Criteria:

Applications may be submitted only by those who meet the following requirements:

• Candidates must have completed their Bachelor’s Degree.
• Students who are currently studying at an Italian university and those who have obtained an Italian University Degree are not eligible for the IYT Program.
• The candidate must have pre-applied on the website of the university of their choice for the postgraduate course or courses (Laurea Magistrale or Master) they wish to apply before submitting their IYT application. Prospective students must review and adhere to the enrollment policies of each university.
• Candidates must have been born on January 1st, 1998, or later. This clause does not apply to students who are applying to have their scholarships renewed.
• Candidates must submit an English language certificate as proof of their proficiency in English.
• Candidates must possess a certificate in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) at least at the B2 level.
• Proof of proficiency in Italian is not mandatory but will be taken into due consideration in the selection process.

Benefits of the Scholarship:

• The “Invest Your Talent in Italy” Program scholarship recipients are not required to pay tuition fees, with the exception of the regional tax for “Diritto allo Studio,” stamp duty, and any costs associated with health insurance, accident insurance, and/or civil liability. Accommodation is not included in the scholarship, nor does it cover travel expenses.
• Grantees must subscribe to a health insurance policy to cover any expenses due to illnesses or accidents.
• Grantees will receive a 1.000,00 Euros (one thousand) monthly allowance on a quarterly basis, which will be paid on their Italian bank account.
• Upon their arrival in Italy, students will be given detailed information about the payment procedures of the scholarship.

Application Process:

• Candidates must complete and submit the online application form.
• Candidates must provide the following documents:
• A final transcript of all previous exams as well as the final grade (Bachelor’s Degree);
• Students who have completed their Bachelor’s studies but have not yet received their Diploma -must submit, along with the final transcript of all previous exams, a document on letterhead paper from their University certifying that they have completed their Bachelor’s program and are waiting for the Diploma to be issued. This document must be issued through and signed by a representative of the Academic Registrar’s Office.
• English language certificate (for example IELTS or TOEFL);
• Italian language certificate, when applicable.
• Video in which the candidate should explain their motivations (no longer than 1 minute);
• CV/resume;
• Valid Passport.

Deadline for the application:

Applications must be submitted from January 30th, 2024 to March 1st, 2024 until 12:00 (Midday, Italian Time).
