Hodcroft Larsen Scholarship at Newcastle university 2024

Hodcroft Larsen Undergraduate Scholarship  is offered to female undergraduate home students, ordinarily resident in the UK.  

Eligibility Criteria:

• Applicant must be a Stage 1 undergraduate student – preference will be given to home students ordinarily resident in the UK;
• Applicant must be a female undergraduate Year 1 student pursuing a Chemical Engineering degree program at Newcastle University

Application Process:

The scholarship will be awarded to one student in the program who comes from a widening participation background and/or has a low household income and can demonstrate financial need for the award. Applicant must have applied for the full student loan to which the applicant is entitled and be able to produce evidence of this. Applications will be judged on academic potential, enthusiasm, and aptitude for the chosen program of study. 

Value of the Scholarship:

Students will receive GBP 3,000 for the first year of study.
