Faculty of Science Placement Enabling Grant at University of Queensland 2024

Undergraduate and graduate students in the Faculty of Science who complete a work-integrated learning (WIL) placement as an entrance requirement for a course or program at UQ are eligible to apply for this grant, which offers financial aid.

Eligibility for Faculty of Science Placement Enabling Grant at the University of Queensland:

• The applicant must be able to prove their need for money as well as the financial strain of their placement.
• The candidate should submit an application by the application deadline to the Faculty of Science.
• The candidate must meet the requirements for domestic or foreign students regarding fees as set out by the university.
• The applicant must be enrolled in the approved program for at least 50% of the year they receive the grant.
• The candidate must be completing a placement or placements that total at least 120 hours in the year that follows the award.

Value of the scholarship:

Successful candidates will receive partial funding of up to AUD 2,000.
