Essex Futures Refugee Care Scholarship 2024-25

• The Department of Psychosocial and Psychoanalytic Studies is offering a £10,000 scholarship for postgraduate students enrolled in the MA Refugee Care course, either on-campus or online, in the 2024-25 academic year.

Eligibility

• You must have received a conditional or unconditional offer to study the MA Refugee Care course (either on-campus or online) at the University of Essex for the 2024-25 academic year.
• This scholarship is available to both home and overseas fee payers who are self-funded.
• A 2:1 or higher in your undergraduate degree is required.
• The scholarship cannot be combined with other University of Essex scholarships.
• Successful applicants may be asked to participate in promotional activities.

Students Who Are Not Eligible

• Deferred entry students are not eligible. If you defer, the scholarship will be withdrawn.
• The scholarship is not available for students repeating any period of study.

How to Apply

• Complete the application form and submit it to ppsdm@essex.ac.uk by 31 May 2024 (midnight GMT).

Selection Process

• The scholarship selection will be based on your eligibility and the supporting statements provided in your application.
• As part of your application, you must submit a 300-word statement explaining how the scholarship will help you achieve your future ambitions.

Notification

• You will be notified of the outcome via email by end of June 2024.
• You must accept the scholarship offer within two weeks of receiving it, or it will be forfeited.
