David Thompson Scholarship at University of Melbourne 2024

About the Scholarship:

This scholarship was established with a donation from Bessie Thompson and is offered to students in financial need studying engineering.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Students need to be enrolled in an Engineering course at the University of Melbourne.
• Students should provide evidence of financial need.

Selection Criteria:

Eligible students are selected based on financial need.

Conditions:

• Students must be enrolled as full-time students in a course at the University of Melbourne. Students may be eligible to receive this scholarship while enrolled as a part-time student.
• This scholarship cannot be deferred to the following year.
• Students must provide a brief report on the benefits of the scholarship and permit the University to provide the report, their name, and course details to the donor.

Application Process:

No application is required. Students will be automatically considered for this award upon enrollment with the university.
