Bournemouth University Music Scholarships 2022

Bournemouth University offers music scholarships to students who wish to develop their talents while studying for their degree. Two types of music scholarships are offered by the University major awards and minor awards.

Eligibility for Bournemouth University Music Scholarships 2022 :

• Applicants from the UK, EU, or international students are eligible for a full-time undergraduate or postgraduate course at Bournemouth University.
• The candidates applying for Bournemouth University Music Scholarships 2022 should prove that they are talented musicians or vocalists and have been involved in ensemble activity.
• The applicants for major awards should have reached Grade 8 of the Associated Board, Trinity or LCM, or equivalent, in their main instrument or voice.
• The candidates should have an academic grounding in music and should have passed A-level.
• The minor awards are available to applicants who narrowly miss out on the requirements for the major award.
• The applicants will get the major award only if they have an unconditional offer.
• The minor award candidates who achieve Grade 8 in their first year will be eligible for major awards in their second year.

• The applicants for Bournemouth University Music Scholarships 2022 should submit two references from their music teacher, director of music, instrumental/vocal coach, ensemble conductor, or any other qualified person.

Value of the Bournemouth University Music Scholarships 2022 :

• The recipients of Bournemouth University Music Scholarships 2022 will receive free music lessons and other benefits in kind, such as examination fees and assistance with buying music. This amounts to approximately £600 per year.
