Anglia Ruskin University Sports Scholarship 2025

Students who compete in the university's performance sports, basketball, and volleyball are eligible for scholarships. In rare cases, the institution may additionally accept applications from athletes who play individual sports and compete at the highest levels. Access to the university's campus fitness centers in Cambridge and Chelmsford is free for all sports scholars.

Value of the Anglia Ruskin University Sports Scholarship: 

There are two levels of scholarship, elite level and podium level, ranging from £1,400 up to £12,500 per year.

Eligibility for Anglia Ruskin University Sports Scholarship:

• Applicants must meet the entry requirements for the chosen course.
• Applicants must be a UK, EU, or international student.
• Applicants must be studying an undergraduate or postgraduate taught course at Cambridge, Chelmsford, or ARU Peterborough campuses.
• Applicants must be competing at the regional or national level to qualify for our Elite Level scholarship.
• Applicants must be competing at the national or international level to qualify for our Podium Level scholarship.
• Applicants must be able to demonstrate that you’ll have a significant impact on the performance of the sports team you join at ARU (if applicable) and/or on BUCS points.
