Andrew Lloyd Webber Foundation Scholarship

The Andrew Lloyd Webber Foundation Scholarship is awarded annually by Urdang to one exceptional student pursuing the BA (Hons) Professional Dance and Musical Theatre course. The scholarship is based on merit and financial need, and it covers the course fees for the successful recipient.

Eligibility Criteria

To be considered for the Andrew Lloyd Webber Foundation Scholarship, applicants must:

• Be applying for the BA (Hons) Professional Dance and Musical Theatre course at Urdang.
• Demonstrate outstanding skills in acting and singing during the entry audition process.

Benefits

• The scholarship covers course fees only and is reviewed annually.
• As an Andrew Lloyd Webber Foundation Musical Theatre Scholarship Graduate, the recipient is entitled to one year’s free membership of Spotlight, which connects graduates with casting professionals and job opportunities in the theatre industry.

Application Process

• Initial Audition: Applicants must first complete the entry audition for the BA (Hons) Professional Dance and Musical Theatre course.
• Scholarship Audition: Those with the highest scores in acting and singing during the initial audition will be contacted by Urdang’s admissions department and invited to attend a second audition specifically for the scholarship.

Deadlines to Apply

• Urdang will notify eligible candidates in early summer via email if they have been selected to audition for the scholarship.
