AMSA Environmental Excellence Scholarship IMAS 2024

Australia's national agency for maritime safety, marine environmental protection, and maritime aviation search and rescue is the Australian Maritime Safety Authority. As the national regulatory agency for Australia, we fight ship-sourced pollution and advance the security and preservation of our maritime environment.

Eligibility for AMSA Environmental Excellence Scholarship:

• Accessible to students starting in Semester 1 or 2 of the Institute for Marine & Antarctic Studies (IMAS) Master of Marine and Antarctic Science program.
• The selection process will take into account the applicant's academic standing, desire to work in the sector, and career objectives that complement AMSA's vision and purpose.
• The program offers specialized tracks for students to pursue in-depth study in a specific field of marine science together with a research project and a more generalized research technique.
• Graduates will benefit from being able to contribute to global concerns including marine stewardship, climate change, and seafood production and security.
• The selected applicant may be eligible for mentoring by an AMSA employee.
• If the application is accepted, the successful candidate may be eligible for work assignments with AMSA.
• The applicant must have at least a passing grade in each semester's modules studied.
