This scholarship was established in 2008 and is maintained from the income of a bequest from the late Marcelle Walden.
Eligibility Criteria for Wheatley Bursary at University of Queensland 2024:
- Applicants must be enrolled in the Bachelor of Arts or a dual program, with a major or extended major in Political Science and/or Public Policy.
- Applicants must have completed 16 to 24 units in an approved program, with at least 4 of these units in a relevant field during a prior semester.
- Applicants must be 20 years of age or older as of January 1, 2024.
