This scholarship was established in 2018 through a generous gift from Dr. Vince FitzGerald AO. The FitzGerald Scholarship is sustained by an endowment fund that is open to additional contributions.
Eligibility Criteria for University of Queensland - FitzGerald Scholarship 2024:
- Students must enrol full-time in the Bachelor of Economics (Honours).
- Students must have completed the Bachelor of Economics from UQ with a major in Economics and Public Policy or Quantitative Analysis.
- Students must have obtained an overall GPA of at least 6.25 in the specified courses in the Bachelor of Economics.
- Applicants should not hold another scholarship that the Head of School considers similar.
Application Process:
A separate application for this scholarship is not required. Students are automatically assessed for the scholarship if they meet the eligibility criteria.
Value of the Scholarship:
A partial amount of AUD 10,000 will be awarded.
