Established in 1977, in memory of Dean Tim Ryan, by his many friends. In 2014 the award was combined with the Iris Jean Richards awards established by Tim in 1969 in memory of his wife. Awarded to a high ranking student studying Economics and entering their 4th year of a degree program at the university.
