The #YouAreWelcomeHere Scholarship at National Louis University 2024

The #YouAreWelcomeHere Scholarship at National Louis University recognizes international students who have a vision for enhancing intercultural understanding. National Louis University will offer scholarships to selected international undergraduates dedicated to furthering the #YouAreWelcomeHere message by bridging intercultural divides. 

Eligibility Criteria:

• Applicants must be first-year international students in any undergraduate program of study.
• Applicants must have attended a secondary school outside of the US.
• Applicants must demonstrate interest and initiative in leadership and intercultural learning.
• Applicants are only eligible to receive one NLU resource per academic year.
• Applicants must maintain full-time status and continuous enrollment (Summer optional).
• Students must maintain a minimum GPA of 2.0.

Application Process:

• Interested candidates must first apply for admission online.
• The candidates must then complete the scholarship application.
• Applicants must complete a 500-1000 word essay or a 2-5 minute video answering the following prompt: "Tell us about your leadership skills in your school or community, and how you plan to continue applying your leadership skills at National Louis University."
• Selected candidates must submit a tuition deposit by July 25.

Value of the Scholarship:

Successful applicants of the #YouAreWelcomeHere Scholarship will receive scholarships equal to 50% of full-time tuition.
