School of Health and Psychological Sciences Doctoral studentships at City University of London 2024

Three newly funded Ph.D. studentships are available within the Centre for Applied Vision Research within the School of Health and Psychological Sciences.

Eligibility for the School of Health and Psychological Sciences Doctoral studentships:

• Applicants must hold a first-class undergraduate degree in Psychology or related disciplines (minimum requirement: 2.1).
• Candidates should hold a Master's in a psychology-related subject (with at least merit).
• Applicants must be able to demonstrate subject-matter knowledge of a typical BPS-accredited BSc Psychology curriculum.
• Applicants must be competent in using SPSS statistics software and have good knowledge of various research methods and skills used at the UG level.
• Some experience in teaching at the undergraduate or MSc level is desirable.
• Students should have an IELTS score of at least 7 (with a minimum of 7.0 in writing) if their first language is not English.

Students need to submit an application form to the university to be eligible for the scholarship.

Value of the Scholarship:

• Students will receive a maintenance grant that is aligned with the UKRI rate (including London weighting), currently GBP 20,622 per annum, and home tuition fees.
• Overseas students who are successful will have to meet the difference between the home fee, included in the funding, and the overseas fee.
