Funded MRes/PhD studentships in Economics at University of Surrey 2023

Graduates from the university's Ph.D. program are in high demand by top business schools, research institutes, and departments of economics worldwide. Several UK and international academic institutions, including the European University Institute, the University of Cambridge, the London School of Economics, the University of Glasgow, the University of Sussex, and the University of East Anglia, have employed former PhD students as lecturers and postdoctoral researchers. Eligibility for Funded MRes/PhD studentships in Economics at the University of Surrey:

• The University of Surrey accepts applications from exceptional candidates without a master's degree, but typically, applicants must have both an undergraduate degree with first-class honors in a relevant discipline and a master's degree in a relevant discipline (or equivalent qualifications).
• Additionally, the institution requires the results of the most current GRE general exam (just the Quantitative Reasoning portion); applications without this documentation won't be accepted. GRE results do not need to be submitted by former Surrey Economics students.
• English language proficiency requirements: IELTS Academic: 6.5 overall, including 6.0 in each component; other comparable examinations are acceptable.
