Middle East Undergraduate Scholarships 2025-26

• The Middle East Undergraduate Scholarships are offered to international students from specific Middle Eastern countries to support their studies at the University of Essex.
• This scholarship is provided as a discount on tuition fees for students starting their undergraduate degree in October 2025-26.

Eligibility:

• Overseas Fee Payers: The scholarship is for self-funded students assessed for overseas fees.
• Country of Residence: Applicants must be ordinarily resident in one of the specified Middle Eastern countries (e.g., Bahrain, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Jordan, Saudi Arabia).
• Undergraduate Degree: You must register for the first year (Year 1) of a full-time undergraduate degree.
• No Other Scholarships: This scholarship cannot be combined with any other University of Essex scholarships.
• Successful Applicants: Must be available for promotional activities. 

Application Process:

• Automatic Consideration: Eligible students will automatically be considered based on the country of domicile and fee status provided in their application for a place at Essex.
• No separate application form is required. 

Value/Benefits:

• The scholarship provides £3,000 towards the tuition fees for students from eligible countries in the Middle East starting their first year (Year 1) of an undergraduate degree at the University of Essex in 2025-26.
